Who we are

Lot Watch (lotwatch.watch) is a vehicle inventory monitoring service operated by Car Curious LLC. We track dealer lots so you can be notified when specific vehicles become available.

Information we collect

• Email address — provided when you sign up for alerts or submit a search request. Used to send inventory notifications and respond to inquiries.
• Vehicle preferences — models, trims, colors, price range, and geographic area you specify. Stored to match you with relevant inventory.
• Inquiry content — messages you authorize us to send to dealers on your behalf.
• Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited). Used for debugging and security; not sold or shared.

How we use your information

• Send inventory alert emails matching your saved preferences.
• Submit dealer inquiries on your behalf when you request it.
• Forward dealer replies to you.
• Improve the service (aggregate analytics only — no individual profiling).

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.

Dealer inquiries

When you authorize Lot Watch to contact a dealer, your name and email may be included in that message. Outbound messages are sent from a Lot Watch address on your behalf. Once a dealer replies, their response is forwarded to you. We are not responsible for how dealers handle your contact information after it is shared.

Broker relationships

Some users work with an automotive broker who uses Lot Watch to search on their behalf. In that case, the broker may see your search preferences and the status of inquiries submitted for you. Your broker relationship is separate from Lot Watch's — we act as a tool for the broker, not as an intermediary with access to payment or personal financial information.

Data retention

Alert preferences and search criteria are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Inquiry history is retained for 12 months to support follow-up and dispute resolution. Server logs are rotated after 30 days.

Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

Lot Watch uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. No third-party tracking cookies are set.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
